Fuyuko Matsui: Entropy
While most of the world was preoccupied with holiday sales Fuyuko Matsui was busy preparing her new exhibition, Entropy, at Gallery Naruyama. With a new series of detail-rich silk paintings the artist continues to further explore themes of ephemerality, disintegration and disorder. Everything is filled with life in them, down to the smallest ant, except human flesh—dull and lifeless it's a mere wrap for its colorful contents.
The opening was transformed into an intimate birthday party for the artist with enough Champagne and vodka to forget about mortality altogether. Through March 16th.
